Folkworks Durham Gathering: A Celtic Farewell

The closing concert of this year’ s Folkworks Durham Gathering reflects a range of Celtic styles and performers. Niall Keegan, master of the Irish flute, Des Hurley – a precise, lyrical Irish fiddle player, plus Calum Stewart and Lauren MacColl, with Andy May, steeped in the traditions of the easterly coast of the north of Scotland and influences from Ireland, Cape Breton and Brittany.
