A Lindisfarne Gospel
A Lindisfarne Gospel is a musical reflection on the Lindisfarne Gospels and the island where it was created. The interweaving musical lines draw on the roots of Northumbrian traditional music and reflect the designs of the illuminated pages of the Gospels; emotive slow airs evoke the wide-skied landscapes of Lindisfarne.
Alistair Anderson, internationally acknowledged as the master of the English Concertina, is joined by Andy May, Rachel Newton, Emily Stephenson, Sophy Ball, and Fiona Beyer.
