Celebrate the turn of the year in truly rambunctious style with the mighty and irrepressible Bellowhead, arguably the most successful folk band of recent times, right at the centre of a New Years Eve party to end all parties!
Enjoy a big-night festival feel with Bellowhead’s on-stage party in Sage One, including a special disco covers set, DJs, singing and dancing in Sage Two and a full blown cataclysmic, concourse ceilidh from English Tradcore dance band GloryStrokes after midnight.
If all of that wasn’t special enough, this will be Bellowhead’s last ever appearance in the North East, so this never to be repeated night will be truly memorable.
With special wining and dining packages available and views of the Quayside fireworks at midnight, Sage Gateshead will be the best spot in town to ring in 2016.

Prosecco Spumante Colli Trevigiani, Enrico Bedin, Veneto, Italy – £35

Rosé Spumante ‘David’, Enrico Bedin, Veneto, Italy – £36
This has a very even mousse with pinprick bubbles and the most attractive flavours of raspberries and red fruits . Dry, but rich in taste, very refreshing and lively.
A Laurance Collection Privee Brut, Loire Valley, France – £36
Clean, crisp aromas of fresh granny smith apple, followed by citrus fruits, pear and more granny smith flavours, complemented by a gentle fizz and a lingering sweet fruit driven finish.
Marquis de Bonnieres, Brut, Epernay, Champagne, France – £75
A smooth Champagne with a creamy palate and notes of toasty brioche and fresh, green apple to balance. Complex enough to work well with food, yet delicate enough to sip as an aperitif.
