After the success of the critically acclaimed album Flint, GRAMMY award-winning pianist and original Snarky Puppy member, Bill Laurance, releases his follow up album Swift in spring 2015. Proudly featuring Snarky Puppy’s Michael League (bass, synth and guitars), Robert ‘Sput’ Searight (drums and percussion) and members of the Metropole Orchestra.

“The natural evolution of contemporary instrumental music. Flawless.” Criticaljazz.com
Expanding from the last album, Swift continues where Flint left off. Working with a larger ensemble and developing more epic soundscapes, Laurance delves deeper into the multi-genre soundscape of his compositions. This album demonstrates how deep groove and classical sensibility can sit happily side by side.
“With Flint I became interested in breaking down the barriers between genres. Swift is a continuation of that exploration. I wanted to broaden the genre spectrum even further.” Bill Laurance
Flint was released in May 2014 and went straight to No1 in the iTunes Jazz Charts. The Bill Laurance project then toured to sell out crowds across the UK and Europe.
