Symphony No.8 in B minor

Cello Concerto in E minor
MOZART
Symphony No.41 in C ‘Jupiter’
Mozart didn’t know his ‘Jupiter’ symphony would become his last, but it’s difficult to imagine how he could have followed a work of such scale, majesty, intensity and liberation.
At the dusk of his own career, Elgar looked around at a world he barely recognised; his shy, angry and profound Cello Concerto was his lament for lost times, while we open with a piece unfinished at its composer’s own untimely death.
“To work with this incredible orchestra is always a challenge and a joy, and pure happiness… it’s a world class ensemble“ Mario Venzago
