Royal Northern Sinfonia
Encourage your children’s interest in music with Royal Northern Sinfonia’s concerts for kids, a great family-friendly introduction to classical music.
Delve into the stories behind some well-known pieces of classical music and discover what inspired the composers to write their music.
There will be lots of activities taking place on our Concourse before and after the concert too, including a classical disco, craft activities, opportunities to have a go on a musical instrument, the chance to earn an Arts Award and a performance by a group from our Young Musicians programme at 1pm. Grab a cuppa from our café and join in the fun!
“A real opportunity for me and the kids to experience the orchestra. We have been to The Snowman but this was something different and we loved it!”
“Loved it. It feels like a door has opened for me and the children into classical music.”
“Amazing experience – booked for the next one already!”
Recommended for ages 5+ but all welcome
