Described recently as ‘A significant new voice in British Jazz’ (Jazz Journal), composer and pianist Paul Edis leads Sage Gateshead’s regional youth jazz ensemble, Jambone, in a programme of new music composed by special guests Matt Anderson (sax) and Zoe Gilby (vocals), both exciting new artists on the UK jazz scene. With support from the PRS for Music Foundation. Featuring the very best teenage jazz musicians from across the North.
