This new quartet founded by percussionist Brendan Murphy play beautiful new and improvised music on glass percussion instruments, double bass and trumpet, in a fragile sonic landscape.
Featuring instruments including a series of glass tubular bells created at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland, a chromatic set of wine glasses tuned with water, a unique glass marimba, a series of glass udu drums, microtonal glass bells and glass gongs, plus double bass. The result is both translucent and mesmeric- in fact it’s crystal clear!
