Award-winning Anglo-Scandinavian trio Phronesis have been one of the most talked about and acclaimed European bands over the past decade. And for good reason. Through their previous seven studio and live albums, the trio have built a worldwide reputation for the melodic fluency of their writing, muscular, bold sound and visceral, highly kinetic musical interplay.
‘One of the most exciting bands on the planet!’ Jazzwise
We Are All, the band’s eighth and newest studio album, offers plenty of emotional range and musical richness for committed Phronesis fans. But in its title and scope, it also seeks to focus attention on an important message of togetherness and balance beyond the one they demonstrate on the bandstand. Formed back in 2005, Phronesis have captured the hearts and minds of audiences around the world, with their engaging grooves, irresistible rhythmic energy and breathtaking group interplay.

Support confirmed as John Pope and Faye MacCalman Duo
Frequent collaborators and in-demand musicians on the North East scene, Faye MacCalman (reeds) and John Pope (double bass) bring their creative voices together through melody, improvisation and space in their acoustic duo.
Drawing from a repertoire of songs by some of their favourite composers, these two young musicians explore tunes from off the beaten track of 20th Century jazz; at times meditative and spacious, grooving, abstract or beautifully melodic.
