HANDEL Israel in Egypt

Written three years before Handel’s Messiah, Israel in Egypt is composed entirely of selected passages from the Old Testament.

Featuring thrilling double chorus numbers, the oratorio takes us on a dramatic musical journey through jumping frogs, showers of hailstones, eerie darkness, buzzing flies and across the Red Sea.

Come along for this rare chance to experience one of the most famous biblical stories, vividly portrayed in Handel’s choral masterpiece. Perfect for Easter week!
