Northern Rock Foundation Hall

Group ticket for 4 people available

The band Seven Eyes was formed in 2015 by classically trained guitarist Paulo Vinícius from Brazil and UK based vocalist, Tanya Wells who specialises in folk, jazz and Hindustani classical vocal techniques.

Accompanied by tabla maestro Shahbaz Hussain and Jasdeep Singh Degun on sitar, this opening night promises to plant the seeds of soulful sounds for the whole tour.

Seven Eyes compose songs that merge their eclectic influences with an aim to creatively explore a confluence of cultures and languages. Their debut album, The Seed (to be released in Spring 2017), has been enthusiastically received by live audiences in the UK, Europe, North America and Brazil.

The band’s sound is best described as ‘a gentle weave of traditions’- Creative India Magazine.
