Community Music Spark Blog - John's Last Day! 12/2/16

Posted on 12 February 2016

Today was John Chapman’s last session with us. He has been a pleasure to work with and will be a huge miss to us all. Though this is his last session with us, it will not be the last time we will see him. We wish you all the best for the future John!!!

Also Callum has had a few weeks trial with us and we are pleased to say that he is able to continue the work with us. Welcome Callum!!

This morning we sang some songs called Blowing In The Wind and I Like The Flowers. We also created our own version of I Like The Flowers for John.

Also this morning we split off into different groups. I went with Marc and Matt to discuss the Community Music training that I am going to plan and deliver to second degree students at Shepherds Dene Hotel in Riding Mill on Saturday 20th February. I am certainly looking forward to that.

The CMS Crew have had a special lunch buffet with John giving his speech.
This afternoon the CMS Volunteers spent time reflecting and planning for the next few weeks about roles and responsibilities and then did a band session. It was absolutely fun, exciting and has been a fantastic day.

I hope what I’ve written for the blog is interesting for all to read on TSG website.
See you soon.
