Day 3

The day started with betrayal. Unbeknown to the lads, the girls had acquired bacon, and ate it in front of the lads. This was NOT appreciated.

But the day swiftly improved as we headed straight to the Willis Tower, the tallest building in all America! The views from floor 103 (at 1500 ft) were quality, if a bit scary.

We then free time exploring downtown Chicago, before heading to a classic restaurant for deep pan pizzas.

No time to rest though, as we had to jump straight on an L train to get to the Old Town School for a rehearsal, where we sorted out wor ceilidh sets ahead of tomorrow’s global dance party.

And to top off a quality day, we headed to the Cellular Stadium to see the White Soxs thrash the Cleveland Indians at baseball. The game was pretty awesome, made better by the fact we were in a millionaires box with free food…

All in all we’ve had another jam packed but brilliant day on the other side of the water!
