InHarmony Live at Sage Gateshead

Posted on 8 March 2017

On Wednesday 1st March, Hawthorn Primary Symphony Orchestra played to a huge crowd of concert-goers on the concourse at Sage Gateshead.
As well as playing a movement from Dvorak Symphony No, 9, the children played an arrangement of Classic FM favourite ‘Lark Ascending’ arranged by Pauline Brandon, In Harmony’s Programme Leader.

There was fantastic support from the children’s parents and families too, with siblings helping to ‘shake the buckets’ resulting in £118.62 being donated to In Harmony on the night. Thank you to all who donated and supported, it really is greatly appreciated.

Sage Gateshead is delivering one of six In Harmony England projects over the next three years. Find out more and help support the project here.
